CBP to host seminar for local import/export/trade community

El Paso, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection El Paso Field Office trade division is hosting a supply chain security presentation Thursday. The free event is being held at 8:30 a.m. at the Chamizal National Memorial, 800 S. San Marcial Street in El Paso.

Topics to be discussed at the seminar included an overview of the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) and Free and Secure Trade (FAST) programs including CTPAT/FAST enrollment/participation requirements and the benefits of CTPAT/FAST membership. CBP experts will also discuss current and future CTPAT/FAST enhancements, supply chain security/seal inspections, contemporary trade issues and host a period of open discussion.

The seminar is open to all interested trade parties to include importers, manufacturers, carriers and other certified/validated CTPAT partners.
