CBP Officers Arrest Canadian at Noonan

Noonan, N.D. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Noonan port of entry arrested an individual from Frobisher, Saskatchewan on Friday.

Shauna Mcknight, 19, a Canadian citizen, arrived at the port around 2 p.m. CBP officers conducted routine queries in the National Criminal Information Center which indicated that Mcknight was wanted for failure to appear, for an impaired driving charge in Estevan, Saskatchewan.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police were contacted and verified that the warrant was still active. Mcknight was refused entry into the United States and escorted back to Canada Border Services where she was turned over to the RCMP and taken to Estevan, Saskatchewan.
