Drummond Island Reporting Station to Close for the Boating Season

Sault Ste Marie, Mich. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Sault Sainte Marie is announcing the closure of the Drummond Island reporting station for the 2010 Summer Boating Season.

With the end of summer, boating traffic has come to a standstill and the Drummond Island reporting station will end daily operations on Saturday, October 9.

From October 10 through October 23, service will be available by calling the Sault Ste Marie port of entry at (906) 632-8822 or (906) 632-2631. All staffing will cease October 24 and vessels will no longer be able to report at Drummond Island.
