Local Agent from Akwesasne is Asset to U.S. Border Patrol

“Massena Station welcomes the expertise and experience Agent Caldwell brings to our staff in northern New York,” said Patrol Agent in Charge Wade Laughman, Massena Station. “She will be a tremendous asset to the Border Patrol as we continue to strengthen our relations with the Tribal governments and members of the Akwesasne community by working together to combat illegal activity.”

Caldwell is from Akwesasne and began her career in El Paso, Texas in 2003 then transferred to Massena in 2007.  Caldwell performed numerous duties and responsibilities with the Border Patrol in administrative and operational functions while serving as a national recruiter, prosecutions officer, explorer advisor, and peer support coordinator.

Prior to her service in the U.S. Border Patrol, Caldwell was employed by the St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police Department. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Potsdam, and has the qualifications and abilities to meet the demands of her new assignment.
