Nogales, Ariz. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in Nogales, Ariz., apprehended a murder and kidnapping suspect from Phoenix early Sunday morning.

At around 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning, officers were conducting outbound examinations when they encountered 29-year-old Saul Ojeda-Beltran.

During the inspection, the officers discovered that Ojeda-Beltran was in the country illegally. Upon further examination, the officers also discovered that a warrant for his arrest on murder and kidnapping charges had been issued out of Maricopa County, Ariz.
