Piegan, Mont. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection is holding an open house at the port of Piegan, Mont., from 12 to 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19. Community members from the area are invited to this event, which will feature tours of the port conducted by Office of Field Operations personnel. Office of Border Patrol ATVs and snowmobiles and Office of Air and Marine aircraft will also be on display.
The open house, hosted by the Area Port of Great Falls, will give the local community an opportunity to see what CBP does and why. It will also give CBP a chance to become better acquainted with residents in the area.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection is the unified border agency within the Department of Homeland Security charged with the management, control and protection of our nation's borders at and between the official ports of entry. CBP is charged with keeping terrorists and terrorist weapons out of the country while enforcing hundreds of U.S. laws.
