MISSION, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents working in collaboration with local and federal agencies disrupt another illegal alien stash house.

Earlier today, Rio Grande Valley Sector agents working along with Homeland Security Investigations and the Hidalgo County Constable’s Office identified a stash house operating in a Mission, Texas neighborhood. As agents and deputies approached the residence, they observed a vehicle leave the location and conducted a traffic stop. The driver, who later admitted was illegally present in the United States, allowed agents and deputies into the residence where an additional 15 illegal aliens were located. Agents determined the illegal aliens to be from the countries of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras and took them into custody.

Border Patrol will process all subjects accordingly.

Even with the spread of the COVID-19 virus, human smugglers continue to try these brazen attempts with zero regard for the lives they endanger nor to the health of the citizens of our great nation.  The U.S. Border Patrol agents of the Rio Grande Valley Sector will continue to safeguard the nation and community against these criminal elements.
