ANTLER, N.D. – U.S. Customs and Border Protection is advising the traveling public that all commercial and passenger vehicle traffic traveling through the Antler port of entry will be required to use an alternate route as North Dakota Highway 256 has been closed due to flooding.

Commercial and passenger vehicle traffic can utilize the ports of Sherwood, North Dakota, to the west of Antler and Westhope, North Dakota, which is east of the Antler port of entry as alternative travel routes. The Sherwood port of Entry is open from 9:00 a.m. CDT to 10:00 p.m. CDT and hours of operation for the Westhope port of entry are 8:00 a.m. CDT to 9:00 p.m. CDT. Water crossing the highway south of the port of entry has made the roadway impassable.
