A bulldozer is used to open an area where a tunnel was discovered in a Nogales parking lot, just across from the U.S.-Mexico border. A hand-dug tunnel led to the break-in of a drainage pipe on the U.S. side of the border. The tunnelers planned to use a vertical drill and break out in this spot in the parking lot. They would then be able to smuggle drugs and humans directly into a waiting vehicle stationed on top of the exit point. The tunnel was discovered before it became operational.
