Border Patrol Agents Rescue Lost Subject

Comstock, TexasU.S. Border Patrol agents from the Comstock Station, responding to reports of a lost individual, located a Mexican national, Aug. 20.

“Through teamwork and collaboration with our law enforcement partners, another lost individual was quickly located before the situation could turn dire,” said Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Austin L. Skero II. “I could not be more proud of the compassion our agents bring to the field with them every day.”

The Del Rio Police Department contacted the Del Rio Sector after receiving a 911 call regarding a lost individual near Comstock. Agents of the Comstock Station immediately initiated a search of the last known location received. Shortly after the search began, the individual was located and medically evaluated. The individual was determined to be a citizen of Mexico in the United States illegally. The subject was transported to the Comstock Station and processed per CBP guidelines.
