CBP Announces its Seventh Trade Day in Detroit

DETROIT – U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Detroit Field Office will be hosting its 7th trade Annual Trade Day from 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Cobo Center, One Washington Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226.

Trade day offers a diverse group of U.S. and Canadian customhouse brokers, carriers, importers, and other trade groups the opportunity to network with commodity teams, specialist from the Centers of Excellence and Expertise, and frontline officers from CBP and other partner agencies.

Participants include Immigration and Customs Enforcement- Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Consumer Product Safety Commission, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Food and Drug Administration, Drug Enforcement Agency, the Small Business Administration and the U.S. Department of Transportation. International agencies such as Canadian Border Services Agency and the Canadian Food Inspection Service will also be in attendance.
