CBP Miami Field Office Pre Hurricane Matthew Operations

MIAMI - U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations, Miami Field Office is updating the trade community and traveling public on the status of the ports of entry in South Florida.

Trade
CBP officers are on duty and are processing commercial shipments at the Miami Cargo Clearance Center (CCC).  305 869 2750.  Members of the trade community and the general public can receive trade related services at the Miami Cargo Clearance Center, located at 6601 NW 25th Street, Miami FL 33122. For additional information and hours of operation, please call 305-869-2750.

At this time, Port Everglades is also conducting Trade related services as usual.   Members of the trade community and the general public can receive trade related services at 1800 Eller Drive

Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316 Suite 110For additional information please call (954) 761-2046.

Port of Miami (Seaport)
Port of Miami advised PortMiami Tunnel will be closed to all inbound/outbound vehicle traffic commencing at 1pm today. The port is operating during daylight hours only.

At this time, some cruise vessels are being diverted from Port Everglades to the Port of Miami. Port will be closed for incoming vessel traffic once sustained gale force winds are in effect.

Miami International Airport
CBP is fully operational at Miami International Airport (MIA). Currently, full processing of international passengers, crew and cargo is taking place.

Port Everglades (Seaport)
Port Everglades is open for vessel traffic. For CBP information, contact 954-356-7431. Port will be closed for inbound vessel traffic once sustained gale force winds are in effect.

Until further notice, entry processing will be performed at the Miami Free Trade Zone, located at 2305 NW 107th Avenue, Miami, FL 33172.

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is 100% operational at this time.

The FLL General Aviation Facility (GAF) is not operational at this time. And will remain closed once sustain gale force winds are in effect. Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is operational.

Port of Palm Beach (Seaport)
The Port of Palm Beach is 100% operational. Port will be closed for incoming vessel traffic once sustained gale force winds are in effect.

Palm Beach International Airport
Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is 100% operational.

The PBI General Aviation Facility (GAF) is not operational. Until further notice, private aircraft operators are encouraged to utilize Fort Pierce Airport or other facilities.

Port of Fort Pierce (Seaport)

Port of Fort Pierce is not operational at this time.

Fort Pierce Airport
Fort Pierce Airport is open for private aircraft operations. To assist and accommodate flights diverted from the Palm Beach area, Ft. Pierce has extended its hours of service. Effective Saturday, October 8, 2016, Fort Pierce Airport will be open for business from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Southeast Regional Airport

Southwest Regional Airport is 100% operational at this time.

Orlando International Airport

Orlando International Airport is 100% operational at this time.

Orlando Sanford International Airport

Orlando Sanford International Airport is 100% operational at this time.

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport

Sarasota Bradenton International Airport is 100% operational at this time.

Gainesville Regional Airport

Gainesville Regional Airport is 100% operational at this time

St. Petersburg Clearwater International Airport

St. Petersburg Clearwater International Airport is 100% operational at this time.

Port of St. Petersburg

Port of St. Petersburg is 100% operational at this time

Port of Fernandina

Port of Fernandina is 100% operational at this time.

Tampa International Airport

Tampa International Airport is 100% operational at this time.

Port of Tampa Bay

Port of Tampa Bay is 100% operational at this time.

Port Manatee

Port Manatee is 100% operational at this time.

Daytona Beach International Airport

Daytona Beach International Airport is 100% operational at this time.

Port Canaveral

Port Canaveral is 100% operational at this time.

Jacksonville International Airport

Jacksonville International Airport is 100% operational at this time.

Port of Jacksonville

Port of Jacksonville is 100% operational at this time.

Tallahassee International Airport

Tallahassee International Airport is 100% operational at this time.

*** Port of Miami, Port of Palm Beach and Port Everglades will be closed starting at 10pm.

Private Vessels
Private boaters arriving in South Florida must continue to report by calling 1-800-432-1216 or 1-800-451-0393. Boaters calling these numbers will be directed to the nearest location so they may report in to a CBP officer for clearance in person. These 1-800 numbers will be fully staffed 24 hours a day to take boaters’ calls. These numbers can also be reached from cell phones, even if the phone is from out of the area.

Although numerous CBP officers sustained extensive property damage, they have demonstrated their dedication to the primary mission of protecting America against terrorism and all other threats to national security while providing vital services to the trade community and traveling public.
