Once in secondary, biometric verification confirmed his identity along with the active felony arrest warrant from Lincoln Park, Michigan Police Department. Medina’s warrant for homicide has been active since November of 2020.

A Hidalgo police officer took custody of Medina and transported him to the county jail to await transport to Michigan.
