BLAINE, Wash. – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations is advising travelers that the Pacific Highway Port of Entry in Blaine, Washington, and Sumas Port of Entry in Sumas, Washington, will undergo construction around mid-October. Travelers should expect to encounter delays during construction.
“CBP is committed to maintaining the highest service standards possible. Sometimes that requires infrastructure enhancements and construction that cause delays. CBP makes every effort to mitigate these impacts to the greatest extent possible,” said Area Port Director Gregory Alvarez.
The exact dates of construction are not known at this time. Once additional details are available, they will be distributed.
