The Woodlands Township offers enrollment hours

HOUSTON – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) offers Global Entry enrollment at 11 sites throughout the state of Texas including at The Woodlands Township.

Enrollment in Global Entry is available every other Thursday from 8:15 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. at The Woodlands Township located at 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard in The Woodlands.

Global Entry is a CBP Trusted Traveler Program that allows for expedited clearance of pre-approved, low-risk travelers. Currently available at 53 U.S. airports and 15 Preclearance locations, Global Entry streamlines the international arrivals process at airports for trusted travelers.

“CBP processes over 1 million travelers each day,” said CBP Director of Field Operations, Judson W. Murdock II. “Our agency strives to provide an innovative approach to assist the traveling public through a speedy entry into the U.S. Global Entry is one innovation that has eased travel times for the more than 5 million members currently enrolled.”

Benefits of becoming a Global Entry member include:

  • Global Entry membership can be accessed at many of the leading U.S. airports;
  • Expedited processing (kiosk usage can take as little as 45 seconds);
  • No minimum number of international trips required to qualify for the Global Entry program;
  • No paperwork (no customs declaration form)

Global Entry is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and U.S. legal permanent residents as well as citizens of certain countries with which CBP has trusted traveler arrangements, including Argentina, Colombia, Germany, India, Mexico, the Netherlands, Panama, the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Canadian citizens and residents enrolled in NEXUS may also use the Global Entry kiosks.

Enrollment centers can be found in Austin, Brownsville, Dallas/Ft. Worth, El Paso, Hidalgo, Laredo, San Antonio, and four locations in the Houston area. More than 5 million Global Entry members bypass traditional CBP inspection lines and use an automated kiosk to complete their admission to the United States. Global Entry members can take advantage of the TSA Pre✓™ program as well.
