JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Air and Marine Operations (AMO) Jacksonville Air and Marine Branch has released fiscal year 2020 enforcement statistics for their area of operations.
The Jacksonville Air and Marine Branch oversees Florida’s northern region, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
During fiscal year 2020 Jacksonville Air and Marine agents conducted over 3,300 Flight Hours along with nearly 2,500 Float Hours resulting in the following enforcement statistics:
- $669,000 cash
- 6,618 lbs of Cocaine
- 952 lbs of Meth
- 3,805 lbs of Marijuana
- 17 weapons
- 72 arrests
- 22 apprehensions
- 1 rescue
“This has been an incredible effort by the men and women of the Jacksonville Air and Marine branch. Regardless of the challenges this year has brought, the team pulled together and worked through each challenge. We had a very productive year as our statistics show,” said Scot Winslow, Director of Jacksonville Air and Marine Branch. “The pandemic did not slow our operational tempo and our agents performed all year, they should be commended for the challenging year and the energy they spent on protecting America and the frontline.”
The Jacksonville Air and Marine Branch conducts its mission to ensure the security of the nation's southeastern region. The branch accomplishes this through the detection, identification and apprehension of foreign and domestic terrorist and smuggling threats.

With approximately 1,800 federal agents and mission support personnel, 240 aircraft and 300 marine vessels operating throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands, AMO serves as the nation’s experts in airborne and maritime law enforcement.
