Laredo Sector Border Patrol Agents Arrest DACA Recipient

LAREDO, Texas – On January 31, 2018, Border Patrol agents arrested a Mexican national identified as a recipient for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival program, attempting to smuggle two illegal aliens into the United States. Border Patrol agents responded to assist the Texas Department of Public Safety on a traffic stop near Highway 83 in Laredo, Texas. The driver, a 23-year-old male, was attempting to smuggle the two illegal aliens in a Ford Focus. The two illegal aliens were identified as being Mexican nationals. The driver was arrested and the vehicle was seized by Border Patrol.
