LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol came together with local law enforcement at the 11th Annual National Night Out in Laredo, Texas.
On October 1, the Laredo Sector, together with law enforcement partners came together at this national community-building event to promote police-community partnerships. Border Patrol agents from the Laredo Sector displayed various aspects of the Border Patrol mission, to include static displays by Border Patrol Marine Operations and other utility vehicles. Border Patrol Canine handlers together with their assigned Service canines were present to greet the community. Border Community Liaison agents were also present to meet and greet parents and their children to speak in regards to the Border Patrol mission.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police and community partnerships; enhancing the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together in an educational and fun environment for everyone to enjoy.
