SEBASTIAN, Texas – Yesterday, the holidays got a little bit brighter for the students of the Sebastian Head Start. U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Weslaco Border Patrol Station, along with members of the National Guard, coordinated with the Sebastian, Texas, Fire Department to deliver toys to students of the Sebastian Head Start in Sebastian, Texas.
This generous donation included Nerf guns, firetrucks, dolls, slime, books, and stuffed animals. This event allowed Border Patrol agents to have a wonderful interaction and great experience with these kids while building positive relationships between kids in the community and police.
"I love seeing the impact our agents have in the community and how spreading Christmas joy to the kids who really deserve a great holiday brings so many smiles,” said Special Operations Supervisor Victor Cardenas.
