TUCSON, Ariz. – Tucson Sector’s Honor Guard Drill Team captured first place in national competition held yesterday in Washington D.C., earning them recognition as the best law enforcement drill team in the country.
Tucson’s team represented the U.S. Border Patrol at the 12th Annual Steve Young Honor Guard Competition held May 14 during National Police Week in Washington D.C. They competed against the top 10 law enforcement teams from across the nation. National Police Week allows law enforcement organizations to honor the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who serve on the front lines protecting the safety and security of communities across America.
Tucson Sector Honor Guard Drill Team adds this prestigious accolade to their recent win against four other Border Patrol teams allowing them to represent the Border Patrol at the 12th Annual Steve Young Honor Guard Competition.
