On June 3, 2022, a Supervisory Customs and Border Protection Officer from the Laredo Port of Entry was arrested by CBP’s Office of Professional Responsibility on the charge of theft of U.S. government property (i.e., money).
CBP’s OPR conducted the investigation, and the case is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Texas.
