U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers and agents from Air Marine Operations (AMO) and Office of Field Operations (OFO) provided support for Super Bowl LII. AMO flew its aircraft to enforce the Temporary Flight restrictions around Atlantaʼs Mercedes-Benz Stadium and provided video surveillance to the Atlanta Joint Operations Center. OFOʼs Special Response Teams provided ground reactionary forces to respond to any incidents on the ground. CBP officers screened every vehicle going into Mercedes-Benz Stadium as well as enforcing Intellectual Property Rights laws. CBP officers at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport also screened passengers arriving from around the world to attend Super Bowl LII on one of Atlantaʼs busiest travel days.
