Notices

Special Instructions

  • Effective November 17th, 2024, all flights requesting permission to land outside of normal operating hours will be required to utilize an individual or third-party Reimbursable Services Agreement (RSP) to compensate CBP for the overtime cost to clear the flight.
  • Please contact the on-duty CBP Officer in Great Falls to inquire about after-hours clearance procedures.
  • After the inspection is complete, either of the FBO services available at KGTF can fuel/service aircraft on the CBP ramp.
  • FBOs will not approach the CBP ramp until a CBP Officer has signaled the inspection is complete.

Contact Information

The on duty CBP Officer may be away from the telephone to clear cargo or arriving aircraft. Leave a voicemail with your return number and someone will respond to your call as soon as possible.

Reporting Requirements

The private aircraft pilot or aircraft operator is responsible for securing permission to land after having successfully transmitted a compliant inbound APIS manifest. This may be achieved directly or through a third-party. For ALL international arrivals at ALL airports, pilots MUST contact the responsible CBP port of arrival directly via phone to secure permission to land from the on-duty CBP Officer. Voicemail, email and fax notifications are not considered sufficient notice of arrival.
