Special Instructions

The Mercedita Airport in Ponce, PR is a “landing right” type airport, and requires CBP approval prior to landing. Please contact the Ponce, PR office to obtain approval. Private aircraft arriving during and after business hours, Sunday, or Holidays, must report arrival by contacting CBP at (787) 841-3130 or by email at: poncecbpops@cbp.dhs.gov

Pleasure boats reporting arrival need to call at (787) 882-3556.
