U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officer Domingo Jasso III passed away on November 5, 2020. The circumstances of his passing were reviewed by an executive panel and the CBP Commissioner who agreed that his death occurred in the line of duty. Officer Jasso will be remembered for his diligent service to the nation and for his bravery in the face of danger.
Officer Jasso was a native of Weslaco, Texas. He started his CBP career on December 18, 2011 and served at the Progreso, Texas Port of Entry. He enjoyed music and was an ardent trumpet enthusiast. In 2015 he joined the Port of Progreso's Honor Guard and continued to serve with the Honor Guard for the remainder of his career.
Officer Jasso was a dedicated employee, who took pride in his service to country and thoroughly enjoyed working for CBP's Office of Field Operations. He is survived by his wife and three minor children.
