Air IntLitz photo in tan flight suit standing in front of a snow covered tree in wintererdiction Agent James Litz passed away of an apparent heart attack while on a TDY assignment in Panama in support of Joint Interagency Task Force South.  On the day of his passing, AIA Litz was engaged in mission planning for an upcoming air mission when he left the flight planning room to prepare the aircraft.  He was later discovered unconscious without a pulse outside the planning room.  CPR was attempted, but was unsuccessful. 

AIA Litz entered on duty with the U.S. Customs Service on August 27, 1990.  He also served in the U.S. Navy for eight years.
