APHIS SealUSDA Agriculture Country Farm Agent Officer John F.  Fogel died in an on-duty vehicle accident on August 18, 1967 near Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He was assigned to the Cumberland County USDA/APHIS County Farm in Carlisle. Agent Fogel served in the United States Army Air Force from 1941 - 1946 and fought during World War II as a member of the 375th Bomb Squadron.
