CBP work-life balance services include live-talk and on-demand webinars available to CBP employees and their family members through LifeCare. Webinar topics span a wide-range of life events and offer insights, strategies, and information designed to help our employees meet the challenges they might be facing. If you cannot attend the live webinars, you can still register to receive an on-demand recording to watch at your leisure.

How to Access or Register

Employees and their family members can use the complimentary access button below to access webinars and limited features without registering for a membership account. Complimentary access may not provide access to all LifeCare features and services.

Complimentary Access

Employees already registered for CBP Backup Care services or with LifeCare will use their membership screen name and password to access webinars. Employees can also use their government email address to register for a membership account or personalized complimentary access.

Upcoming Care Talks

Each month employees and family members can participate in Care Talk events focused on parenting, caregiving, resiliency, and personal health. If you cannot attend the live family care webinars, you can still register to receive an on-demand recording to watch at your leisure.

Whether we are helping our older parents or grandparents say at home longer - 89% of older Americans prefer to stay living in their homes as long as possible - or we are needing our homes to be our sanctuaries, this session focuses on the principles of universal design for aging and Well Home Design standards to create our dream homes. We’ll take a Peter Pan house (a home built for someone who is never going to age) and go room by room showing you how to make your home or your loved one’s home safe, how to address air care, green eco and sustainable design and the new trend in biophilic design to create healing spaces for a lifetime.

Caregiver Burnout

May is National Mental Health Month and surveys show caregivers experience more burnout and stress than the general population. This session touches upon the challenges to mental and emotional health and how to find more happiness, joy and balance in life. Tips on how to understand emotional vibrations, how to use daydreaming for building resilience, learning to let go of grief and guilt and establish boundaries that negatively impact health and wellness, understanding situational vs clinical depression. The session also includes a tool known as the Social Convoy model to create a care team for emotional support and getting a respite break.
