Border Patrol Agents Arrest U.S. Man for Human Smuggling

TUCSON, Ariz. – Tucson Sector Border Patrol Agents from the Casa Grande Station arrested a U.S. citizen for smuggling three illegal aliens in a Chevy Equinox near Casa Grande, Arizona on Sunday evening.

Agents on Sunland Gin Road were conducting an immigration stop when they observed multiple people in the back seat attempting to hide. After questioning the three subjects in the back seat, agents determined they were illegal aliens from Mexico.

Agents arrested the driver, a 22-year-old male U.S. citizen, for human smuggling and seized the vehicle. The three Mexican nationals are being processed for immigration violations per Tucson Sector guidelines.
