MASSENA, N.Y. – Yesterday, CBP’s Buffalo Field Office appointed Supervisory CBP Officer Tracy Casey as the new Tribal Liaison Officer for the Massena Port of Entry.
Tracy began her career with the U.S. Customs Service in 2002 as an Inspector in Massena, NY. In 2003, she became a Customs and Border Protection Officer within the newly formed Department of Homeland Security. Tracy was promoted to her current position as Supervisory CBP Officer in 2008 and performs numerous duties and responsibilities with CBP in administrative and operational functions, such as Cargo Supervisor, Scheduling, Training, and a National Recruiter.
“U.S. Customs and Border Protection understands the importance of transparency, open communication and maintaining an excellent working relationship with the Akwesasne community and its Tribal leaders,” said Port Director Robert Dwyer. “With her professionalism and expertise, Supervisor Casey will help build on an already strong relationship with the Tribe.”
