CBP Atlanta Field Office Hurricane Matthew Operations: October 8, 2016

ATLANTA – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Field Operations, Atlanta Field Office is currently updating the trade community and traveling public on the status of the ports of entry that fall under the Atlanta Field Office.

Trade

The Ports of Savannah and Brunswick will reopen for Trade related operations once the U.S. Coast Guard makes a determination on the feasibility of reopening the water ways. CBP is working closely with port authorities and our federal and state partners to resume trade operations as soon as it is safe to do so.

Port of Savannah

Will reopen once the U.S. Coast Guard determines the feasibility of reopening the water ways.

Savannah International Airport

The Savannah International Airport will conduct an assessment at 0800 Sunday, October 9th, 2016 and will then make a determination on opening.

Atlanta International Airport

The Atlanta International Airport is fully operational at this time. CBP is operational and is processing passengers and cargo. For CBP information, contact (678) 284-5900.

Port of Charleston

Will reopen once the U.S. Coast Guard determines the feasibility of reopening the water ways. For CBP information, contact (843) 579-6500.

Port of Columbia

Port of Columbia is fully operational at this time. CBP is operational and is processing passengers and cargo. For CBP information, contact (803) 822-5251.

Myrtle Beach International Airport

Myrtle Beach International Airport will reopen once an operational assessment has been completed. For CBP information, contact (843) 916-0438.

Greenville-Spartanburg

Port of Greenville-Spartanburg is fully operational and open for all vessel and vehicle traffic. CBP is operational and is processing passengers and cargo. For CBP information, contact (864) 877-8006.

Service Port of Georgetown

Port of Georgetown is fully operational and open for all vessel and vehicle traffic. CBP is operational and is processing passengers and cargo. For CBP information, contact (843) 916-0438.

Port of Greensboro/Winston-Salem

Port of Greensboro/Winston-Salem has suspended Trade operations as Hurricane Matthew is currently moving through the area. For CBP information, contact (336) 668-7272.

Port of Raleigh-Durham

Port of Raleigh-Durham is fully operational and open for all passenger, vessel and vehicle traffic. CBP is operational and is processing passengers and cargo. For CBP information, contact (919) 674-3400.

Wilmington

The Port of Wilmington is conducting trade operations with minimal staffing. Wilmington will resume activities once an operational assessment has been completed. For CBP information, contact (910) 772-5900.

Charlotte

Morehead City-Beaufort

Morehead City has suspended Trade operations as Hurricane Matthew is currently moving through the area. For CBP information, contact (252) 726-5845.

Norfolk-Newport News
