BLAINE, WASH.—The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.

12/6/2011- Agents responded to a request for assistance from the Blaine Police Department in Blaine, WA. Agents encountered a citizen of Costa Rica who admitted to being in the United States illegally. The subject was processed for removal.

12/6/2011- Agents arrested a citizen of Mexico near Forks, WA who admitted to being illegally present in the United States. The subject had a prior conviction for domestic violence and had been previously removed from the United States. Subject was processed for reinstatement of a prior removal.

12/10/2011- Agents took custody of a citizen of Guatemala who was scheduled to be released from the Whatcom County Detention Center in Bellingham, WA. U.S. Border Patrol agents had previously placed an immigration detainer on the subject. The subject had an extensive criminal history to include driving under the influence, hit and run, harassment, and assault. The Guatemalan citizen admitted to being illegally in the United States and was processed for removal.

12/10/2011- Agents arrested a citizen of Guatemala near Forks, WA. who had been previously apprehended by U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Blaine Sector. The subject was processed for removal.

12/11/2011- Agents responded to a Blaine Police Officer's request for assistance regarding an investigation into a possible burglary. Agents encountered a citizen of Mexico illegally present in the United States. The subject was processed for removal.
