LAREDO, Texas – The Laredo Sector Border Patrol held its Youth of the Month event at the Lyndon B. Johnson High School on Wednesday, January 23.  At a ceremony for the January 2019 honorees, Border Patrol along with community partners presented seniors from eleven Laredo high schools with the prestigious Youth of the Month Award.

Border Patrol Agent Carolina Machado, a former Head of the Class honoree, from the Laredo North Station told the honorees, “If it meant that hard work and studying lead to success, if it meant that perseverance and endurance will shine, if it meant that this was an indication for your future to be, it meant that you were the Youth of the Month of 2019.”
