RGV Border Patrol Agents Arrest Two Noncitizens with Criminal Convictions

PENITAS, Texas – Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents arrest two criminal non-citizens with criminal convictions over the weekend.

Friday morning, McAllen Border Patrol Station (MCS) agents apprehended a group of eight subjects near Penitas, Texas.  Record checks revealed one subject, later identified as Pedro Coronado Jr., has an extensive criminal record to include an arrest by the Aransas Pass Police Department for indecency with a child sexual contact a 2nd degree felony.  The subject was sentenced to 10 years of probation.

Yesterday, MCS agents working near Penitas, apprehended several subjects after they entered the United States without inspection. The group was transported to the station where records checks revealed that one subject, a Salvadoran national was previously arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for racketeering conspiracy.  The subject was sentenced to 121 months incarceration.   

Both subjects were processed accordingly.
