BLAINE, WASH.—The information listed below is from arrests and seizures related to the U.S. Border Patrol in the Blaine Sector area of operations. For security reasons, this may not be a complete list of enforcement actions.
07/07/2013 - A Remote Video Surveillance System operator observed a person in close proximity the U.S./Canada border in Blaine, Washington. Agents responded to the area and located the subject attempting to conceal himself in bushes just south of the international border. Agents determined the subject, a citizen of Thailand, was illegally present in the United States. The individual was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
07/10/2013 - Blaine Border Patrol agents responded to a report from the Blaine Police Department of a suspicious individual near the U.S./Canada border. Agents responded to the area and located the subject standing behind a business that was closed for the evening. It was determined that the individual was a citizen of El Salvador and illegally present in the United States. The subject was placed under arrest and processed for removal.
07/12/2013 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System witnessed two subjects exiting a wooded area adjacent to the U.S./Canada border in Blaine, Washington. Agents responded to the area that has been used in the past for making illegal entries into the United States. Both subjects were encountered walking south from the international border. It was determined they were citizens of the United Kingdom who were illegally present in the United States. The pair were placed under arrest and processed for removal.
07/13/2013- While patrolling the border, agents observed two people illegally enter the United States in Blaine, Washington. The subjects were determined to be citizens of Columbia and Spain. Both were placed under arrest and processed for removal.
07/15/2013 - While patrolling the border in Blaine, Washington, agents observed two people in close proximity to the United States/Canada border wearing camouflage clothing. The subjects attempted to conceal themselves in a wooded area south of the international border when they saw the agents approach. Both subjects were determined citizens of Canada who were illegally present in the United States. The pair were placed under arrest and processed for removal.
07/17/2013 - Operators of a Remote Video Surveillance System witnessed a group of people illegally cross the U.S./Canada border west of Sumas, Washington. Agents responded to the area and with the assistance of a K-9 team located the group of five attempting to hide in raspberry bushes. Agents determined that the group was composed of four citizens of Pakistan and one citizen of India who were illegally present in the United States. All subjects was placed under arrest and processed for reinstatement of a prior order of removal.
