Uvalde Border Patrol Agents Arrest Convicted Sex Offender

Uvalde, Texas – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Uvalde Station arrested a convicted sex offender, Sept. 3.

Agents arrested Alfredo Perez-Trejo, 36, a citizen of Mexico, shortly after he entered the United States illegally. During processing, agents discovered that Perez-Trejo was convicted of indecency with a child; sexual contact in Waxahachie in 2010 and was sentenced to five years incarceration.

Perez-Trejo was removed from the United States in 2014.

As a convicted felon, he faces a charge of 8 USC § 1326 – Re-entry After Deportation, which carries a maximum sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
