Reporting Requirements
The private aircraft pilot or aircraft operator is responsible for securing permission to land after having successfully transmitted a compliant inbound APIS manifest. This may be achieved directly or through a third-party. For ALL international arrivals at ALL airports, pilots MUST contact the responsible CBP port of arrival directly via phone to secure permission to land from the on-duty CBP Officer. Voicemail, email and fax notifications are not considered sufficient notice of arrival.
Contact Information
The on duty CBP Inspector may be away from the telephone to clear cargo or arriving aircraft. Leave a voicemail with your return number and someone will respond to your call as soon as possible.
