Finding of No Significant Impact for the Expansion of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Riverside Air and Marine Operation Center at March Air Reserve Base, Riverside, California (May 2019)

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announces the availability of a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the expansion of the Riverside Air and Marine Operation Center (AMOC) at March Air Reserve Base (MARB). CBP prepared a Final FONSI to adopt a MARB Environmental Assessment (EA) that identifies and assesses the potential environmental impacts associated with the expansion project, which would support the addition of new operations, storage responsibilities and an increase of staff at the AMOC.

The Riverside AMOC expansion project consists of the construction of a 25,000 square foot administrative building, a 20,000 square foot warehouse, and a 2.5-acre parking lot at MARB.  Minor renovation of two existing modular buildings and the creation of an outdoor Air and Marine Park at MARB are also included in the project.
