The Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) is the commercial trade processing system being developed by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to modernize business processes, enhance border security and expedite legitimate trade. ACE replaces existing legacy systems used to manage imports and exports with a modern, integrated account-based system that will provide better decision-making tools, more reliable information and improved information sharing.
