U.S. Customs and Border Protection enforces Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) by seizing products that infringe IPR, such as copyrights, patents and trademarks. The abundant theft of intellectual property and trade in fake goods severely threaten the economic vitality and national security of the United States, as well as the health and safety of the American people at large. Additionally, trade in these illicit goods often funds organized crime and other criminal activities. This is submitted for public awareness.
