Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) Document Submission Requirements for Arrival Into and Departure From the United States

The APIS Final Rule (AFR), 70 Fed. Reg. 17820 (April 7, 2005), defines the data required within a carrier's electronic arrival and departure passenger manifests. Among other APIS data elements such as name and date of birth, certain document submission requirements apply to travelers arriving into or departing from the United States.
