Use entry type code 02, 06, 07, 12, 23, 32, 38, or 52

Report in kilograms.  

Merchandise presented at the opening shall be reported and released via the quota module of ACE.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Input into the quota module is also required for those provisions which require a visa but are not subject to a quantitative restraint.  In all instances, ports should report the visa number in the visa field of the quota input screen.

DISTRIBUTION:

Please ensure that this notice is passed to all port directors, assistant port directors (trade), import specialists, entry specialists, CBP officers, and other interested parties such as brokers and importers.
