CBP needs industry collaboration and support in its commitment to facilitate legitimate trade while preventing products made with forced labor from entering the U.S. It is the industry’s obligation to be aware of its own supply chain activities, and CBP encourages industry stakeholders to start due diligence efforts now by tracing supply chains, evaluating risk, communicating with suppliers, and keeping thorough documentation. CBP has information and resources to facilitate legitimate trade while enforcing the law, ensuring consumer safety, and setting a level playing field for American business.
