Non-ABI/Manual Entry Summary
Non-ABI/Manual Entry Summary
- Manual Entry Summaries are not transmitted via ABI, however they are accepted into ACE.
- Entry Summary document and timeliness requirements are the same with Non-ABI Entry Summaries as they are with any other Entry Summary.
- When CBP reviews the entry documents for compliance and releases a manual entry summary, the invoice is returned to the filer, and that invoice serves as the release notification to Non-ABI filers. This usually occurs when documents are presented in person.
- If entry documents are submitted electronically to CBP, an electronic notification of the release is sufficient.
- Non-ABI entries must be paid via single pay, they are not allowed on statements.
Non-ABI/Manual Entry Summary (Lineless)
- Non-ABI/Manual Entry Summary lineless processing has the same entry document and timeliness requirements as any other Entry Summary. However, the only data CBP inputs into ACE is the header data.
